Amid the glitz of Broadway, three chorus girls—Polly, Carol, and Trixie—hope a new stage will change their fate. Producer Barney Hopkins promised them roles, even recruiting their neighbor, Brad Roberts, a talented composer, to create the music. Problems arise when Barney runs out of funds, until Brad, who turns out to be very rich, saves the production—on the condition that he not appear.
