When Trumpets Fade
West Germany, World War II: Private David Manning survives a deadly attack, but leaves his comrade once dying. Promoted to sergeant despite wanting to be relieved of his duties, he must lead a new platoon consisting of young conscripts who are not yet ready. On a cruel battlefield, Manning is faced with an impossible choice: survive or flee. Can he save them before the trumpet of death sounds?
