True Crime
Steve Everett, an Oakland Tribune reporter with a penchant for women and alcohol, is assigned to cover the execution of Frank Louis Beachum, a convicted murderer on death row. However, when he discovers evidence that Frank may be innocent, time is running out—only hours remain before his execution. Overshadowed by conflict with his boss who is also the husband of his mistress, Steve must uncover the truth before Frank's life and his own career are destroyed.
