The Soloist
Steve Lopez, a columnist running out of ideas, discovers Nathaniel Ayers, a homeless genius playing a broken violin on the streets of Los Angeles. Inspired by his talent, Steve writes Nathaniel's story, but he soon realizes that helping the man goes beyond just articles. In the midst of battling mental illness and a cruel system, the two learn about hope and the meaning of humanity.
