The Railway Man
Eric Lomax, a former prisoner of war who was traumatized by torture while building the Thai/Burma railway during WW2, finds love with Patti, a woman he met on the train. However, his dark past continues to haunt him, especially the figure of the Japanese officer who tortured him. When Patti finds out her tormentor is still alive, she is faced with a difficult choice: let Eric face his demonstration or protect him from old wounds. Will their love be strong enough to survive this test?
