The Ninth (Devyataya)
19th-century St. Petersburg was gripped by occult fever, and British medium Olivia Reed captivated the masses with her seance sessions. However, the city is also terrorized by ritualistic serial murders—girls are kidnapped and their bodies are found in gruesome circumstances. The young police officer Rostov and his assistant Ganin investigate the case, but the deeper it gets, the more mysterious it becomes. When suspicions turn to Olivia, Rostov decides to use his abilities, whether real or fake, to catch the killer.
