The Night Listener
Gabriel Noone, a radio host who is an expert at telling scary stories, fell into a slump after his girlfriend left him. His life changes when a publisher gives him a manuscript by Pete Logand, a 14 year old teenager who was a victim of parental violence and is now being cared for by his former social worker, Donna. Connecting by phone, Gabriel grows obsessed with Pete and Donna—but doubts begin to eat away at him. Does Pete really exist? Is Donna blind, or is this all a sneaky trick? Gabriel decides to meet them, but the truth he finds is more terrifying than he imagined.
