The King of Staten Island
Scott, a young man in his 20s, has been trapped in his childhood since his father—a firefighter—died. He lazes around, dreams of becoming a tattoo artist, and relies on his mother who is a nurse. When his mother begins dating Ray, an outspoken firefighter, Scott is forced to confront his loss and begin to grow. This comedy-drama film is full of dry humor and touching moments, spiced up by a soundtrack from Kid Cudi. .
