The Keeper (Trautmann)
At the end of World War II, Margaret Friar, the daughter of the local soccer club manager, was fascinated by Bert Trautmann, a German prisoner of war who was talented as a goalkeeper. Despite strong opposition from people who still hold war grudges, their love grows. Bert was then recruited by Manchester City, sparking anger from fans—especially from the Jewish community. However, unexpected support from a rabbi who survived the Holocaust changed everything. The peak occurred in the 1956 FA Cup Final, when Bert played with a broken collarbone for his team's victory. However, the toughest test comes from a personal tragedy that threatens their relationship. Can their love and determination survive against all odds?
