The Desert Dragon
At the end of the Tang Dynasty, Huangfu Beng, the elder of Kunwu Pavilion, led his disciples against a thousand-year-old tree demon that threatened the earth dragon. As the demon absorbed the devil pearl, Huangfu Beng sacrificed all his strength to activate the Flying Formation, sending his two disciples—Xuntan and Chu Ling'er—back to the past.
