The Counterfeiters (Die Falscher)
Based on a true story, Salomon "Sally" Sorowitsch, the king of counterfeiting, lived a life of luxury in Berlin until he was captured by the Nazis and sent to a concentration camp. His extraordinary abilities earned him a transfer to Sachsenhausen to lead Operation Bernhard—the production of counterfeit money to undermine the economy of Germany's enemies. However, when fellow prisoner Adolf Burger refuses to help the Nazis, Sally is faced with a moral dilemma: obey and survive, or rebel and risk her life. A risk of life and heart in the midst of the darkness of war.
