Monika, a 13-year-old Lithuanian girl, dreams of becoming a singer with her mother, Jolanta, a pianist who is forced to work in a fish factory in Dublin. Even though life was difficult with her sickly grandmother, Monika did not give up. When they received an invitation to perform at 'The Castle', a prestigious music venue in Ireland, Jolanta actually sold their keyboard.
