Sleepers
Hell's Kitchen, 1967: four inseparable children—Shakes, Michael, Tommy, and John—live a hard life in a crime-ridden neighborhood. The only figure they respect is Pastor Bobby. However, fate changes when a juvenile delinquent leads them to the Wilkinson Home for Boys, where they are subjected to brutal torture by cruel guard, Sean Nokes. Thirteen years later, their friendship is fractured: Tommy and John become criminals, Michael a prosecutor, and Shakes a writer. When Nokes reappears, old grudges flare. With the help of mafia boss King Benny and Pastor Bobby, they plan a high-stakes revenge. But can justice be achieved without sacrificing everything?
