Searching for Bobby Fischer
Josh Waitzkin, an ordinary American boy who was initially only interested in baseball, suddenly shows extraordinary talent in chess after beating his father. His talents flourished in Washington Square, New York, where he met Vinnie, a street chess player who taught him the fast game. His parents then hired a well-known trainer, Bruce, who taught him measurable strategies. However, the pressure wears out Josh and he intentionally loses the match, threatening his chances of becoming national champion.
