Kaoru, a girl suffering from Xeroderma Pigmentosum (XP), must avoid the sun's deadly rays. In the evenings, he plays guitar and sings at train stations, creating soulful songs. One morning, Koji, the young man he had been secretly paying attention to, heard her singing and was enchanted. They started a relationship, but Kaoru decided to stay away because of his illness.
