In the Joseon era, an ailing King is suspected of being dead, while Crown Prince Lee Chang is accused of treason by the Queen's scheming clan. While investigating his father's illness, he finds himself trapped in a village struck by a terrible plague: the undead rise, tearing apart anyone they encounter. With winter arriving, zombies become more violent, while political conspiracies run rampant. A pregnant queen plans a major deception, and Lee Chang must rally his forces before a plague destroys the kingdom. Can he save his people, or is this the end of the Joseon dynasty?
