Mothra returns to Tokyo with a dire warning: return Godzilla and Mechagodzilla's bones to the sea, or face doom. However, humans refuse, because Mechagodzilla is the only weapon against Godzilla's return to rampage. When an epic battle erupts, Tokyo becomes a battlefield for these legendary creatures.
