Gabriela (Gabriela, Cravo e Canela)
In a Brazilian coastal town in 1925, Nacib (Marcello Mastroianni), a respected bar owner, falls in love with Gabriela (Sonia Braga), the sensual woman he employs as a cook. Their passion burns, but Nacib's jealousy peaks when another man continues to target her. On the advice of his friend Tonico, he marries Gabriela, hoping to control her. However, Gabriela's freedom is unstoppable—until her affair with Tonico forces Nacib to cancel the wedding.
