A Family Man
In the midst of preparations for the D-Day invasion that determined the fate of World War II, Winston Churchill (Brian Cox) was filled with doubts and past trauma. Imagine the heartbreaking failure at Gallipoli which killed thousands of soldiers. Now, as an exhausted and depressed Prime Minister, he is on the verge of collapsing under the pressure. Political opponents targeted him, allies like Eisenhower and Montgomery frustrated him, while his wife, Clementine, struggled to save him from mental collapse.
